I was disgusted to find that radio stations are already playing 24 hours of Christmas music -- and it's not even Thanksgiving yet! I saw this YouTube video over at Karla Meachem's blog Empowering Christian Women, it brings up some great thoughts:
It concludes by demonstrating that Santa is all about me and materialism, while Jesus is all about the grace I desperately need. But can even that perspective be misconstrued and made to be all about me? Is most people's Christianity really just a self-centered fire insurance program?
