Chuck Baldwin for President

Sorry for the political post, but I must endorse Chuck Baldwin as the only president worth voting for this year. I hereby rescind my support of Libertarian candidate Bob Barr and support Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin. I know Ron Paul has been getting a lot of heat for backing Baldwin and not Barr, but after doing some homework I now see why. Barr is a neocon Republican and shares many of McCain's views in actuality -- far from being a true Libertarian. For Chuck Baldwin's official campaign site, visit: http://baldwin08.com.

Chuck Baldwin also recently won the support of Dr. Ron Paul.

Who Is Chuck Baldwin?

Chuck Baldwin is a citizen of the United States of America just like you and me. The difference is that he is not an elected politician offering the same old political answers. Chuck Baldwin has talked the talk and walked the walk. He doesn’t have a history of flip-flops and he does not test the wind every time he takes a position. Refreshing isn’t it? Have you ever thought what you would do if you were elected President of the United States? Chuck has done just that and he is providing the right answers to the important questions.

Chuck Baldwin was born in La Porte, Indiana on May 3, 1952. He is married to the former Miss Connie Kay Cole. Chuck and Connie were married on June 2, 1973 after meeting in college. They have three cherished and wonderful children and all three are married with families of their own.

Chuck graduated from La Porte High School in 1971 and attended Midwestern Baptist College in Pontiac, Michigan for two years. After he and Connie married and upon graduation they moved to Lynchburg, Virginia where he enrolled in Liberty Bible Institute at Liberty University. Since he earned his Bachelor and Master Degrees in Theology, Chuck has received two honorary Doctorate Degrees.

Chuck is a founder and minister at the Crossroad Baptist Church in Pensacola, FL. Under his leadership the Church was recognized by President Ronald Reagan. Many conservative political and values leaders have spoken in his church including Patrick J. Buchannan, Pueblo Intelligence Officer Lt. Commander Steve Harris, Congressman Joe Scarborough and Ambassador Alan Keys to name just a few.

Chuck Baldwin is also a radio talk show host and an accomplished author. He moderates a daily, a one hour long call-in show where he addresses current event topics from a conservative point of view. The program is considered to be the most influential voice in the Florida Panhandle for conservative principles. Thousands of citizens are informed and rally to a call to action on issues that are so important to our nation’s future.

Chuck is also a newspaper and internet columnist whose articles and political commentaries are carried by a host of internet sites, newspapers, and news magazines.

He has had the honor of meeting with former Presidents Ronald Reagan and George Bush, Sr. and Governors Bob Martinez, Fob James, Jr. and Jeb Bush. He has also been officially recognized by the Escambia County Florida Sheriff’s Department as an Honorary Deputy Sheriff. He received the “National Medal of Patriotism” award from the American Police Hall of Fame and is a volunteer chaplain at the State Prison in Century, Florida. Make an informed choice for president in 2008 -- think for yourself -- don't go with the status quo! A great quote from John Quincy Adams: "Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost."

Dan, I think Chuck is a better call for you, Bob Barr is basically a wanna be with nothing to stand on in his own favor. I would prefer, of course, your support even if it required pinching your nose for John McCain. But at least Chuck's got some local roots.

Thanks for continuing to think, I wish more people under 40 would think and analyze before jumping on a bandwagon for "change" or "hope" and then forgetting 250 years of history suggesting that other things matter.

I could care less about Obama's race, his pastor's foolishness, or his dabbling in ultra-liberal thought. Lots of dumb college kids do that, as well as test drive controlled substances.

I care that the things he espouses will hurt our country. Killing babies that happen to survive an abortion, raising taxes on businesses when we most need less government, shoving cash into ACORN and other ridiculous organizations to waste, and destroying our foreign standing by sitting down with terrorists and dictators.

If the youth of America want to be liked by Iranian Islamacists, then I would prefer they move to Iran.

Well said, Steve. I also wish more people under 40 would think, let alone do a little research. Evidence is easy to find with Google these days, you can perform advanced congressional research from the comfort of your living room.

I looked for an email address here to send you a message, but couldn't find one. Chuck himself somehow got a hold of your blog and appreciated your words here. I'm an assistant with the campaign in charge of correspondence, and he wanted a thank-you note sent in acknowledgment. We'd love to have you join our Baldwin-blogger group on google. Drop an email to me please, bethany (at) baldwin2008 com and I'll send you the link to that.

Thank you so much for your support!

Awesome, man. It's so great more people are going along with Baldwin once Bob Barr's opportunism came to the surface. Great endorsement!

We don't need any "theocracy" pusher in this country's politics.

Daddy, don't preach.

The intrusion of religion into politics has caused all the problems we are dealing with politically today.

Get OVER yourselves.
You are NOT 'holier than thou'.
You are NOT 'exceptional'

You are mainly ugly bags of mostly water and pretty messed up at that.

Karma runs over dogma every time.

HEADS UP.

I had someone mention the "theocracy" aspect on my other blog, I offer you the same replies, direct quotes from his website:

Could you send me a link for the theocracy thing? From what I see, it’s more or less about:

“No foreign government or world government body or entity, not even an ally or neighbor of the US is allowed to own any portion of US roads, airports, homes, buildings, lands, waters, resources (oil, gas, precious metals, minerals, etc,), religious facilities (no matter what faith), stocks, bonds, US treasury notes, businesses, banks, military bases or military assets or manufacturing facilities in the US regardless of how much the foreign governments donate to the political campaigns or private fortunes of US officials, elected or bureaucratic, or even to the US treasury.”

Baldwin and Castle are clearly Christians, but they seem to impose the morality but not the faith, which I’m mostly OK with. I still think many issues should be the states’ decision, such as abortion, but I’d rather have someone who opposes the Fed than someone who doesn’t. By the time their 4 years is up, they wouldn’t have enough time to set up any theocracy and the road would be paved for more Constitutional candidates, such as Dr. Ron Paul, to run on the ticket.

Also, “I am more convinced than ever that, ultimately, the survival of liberty in America does not depend upon political parties, special interest groups, or corporations. In these United States of America, God has put the destiny of the country squarely in the hands of “We the people.” It will not be conservatives or liberals, Republicans or Democrats, people of faith or unbelievers that restore America. It will be individuals from all walks of life, all backgrounds, and all political persuasions who love liberty enough to fight to maintain it. Ultimately, of course, all nations–just like all individuals–must give an account to our Creator for how we protected the freedoms and liberties that He gave us. With God’s help these individuals from all walks of life and backgrounds, who love their country and their liberty, will be the foot soldiers in the political revolution that will save America!”

They clearly include people of all faiths. Our Constitution talks about a Creator, uses the term God, and they are the Constitution party. If people don't like the Constitution, move to another country that isn't founded on the concept of a benevolent Creator, like Russia or China perhaps. I don’t have a problem with that, so long as they grant every religion freedom to practice and to run for public office — which they do.

Thanks for sharing this information with the public. Many people fear anything other than the mainstream...they believe that the media and politicians have our best interest in mind.

I think it really hit home for me today when one of my co-workers (born and raised in Macedonia, but now a legal US citizen) told me today that she would have registered to vote by this prior Monday, had she known that there were others running for president, which didn't include the Republican or Democratic hopeful. I just thought to myself what an injustice has occurred over and over again that Americans by-and-large are being fed information that is seemingly directed at two parties as though only two parties exist.

I realize that Bob has done the Libertarian party an injustice, and i believe that is a crying shame. However, we must realize that there were those that came before us who may have even sacrificed their lives for our right to vote and voice our opinion(especially the trials of women's suffrage not too long ago). We must look into all possible options. We must share these truths with those that we know.

Whether McCain, Obama, Barr, or Baldwin--we must share the truth, because the future of our nation depends on it. Thank you prayeramedic for endorsing someone who is passionate for the foundations of this country's constitution and freedom from tyranny.

Just trying to make people think. We have a generation incapable of critical thinking, and the media likes to keep it that way. READ!
